Bulletin details
* WHAT...For the Beach Hazards Statement, dangerous rip currents and breaking waves due to elevated surf expected. For the Coastal Flood Advisory, minor to locally moderate coastal flooding with elevated surf and dangerous rip currents expected. * WHERE...Catalina and Santa Barbara Islands, Ventura County Beaches, Malibu Coast and Los Angeles County Beaches. * WHEN...For the Beach Hazards Statement, through 6 AM Wednesday. For the Coastal Flood Advisory, from 6 AM Wednesday to 11 PM PDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Moderate flooding of sea water is likely over some vulnerable low-lying coastal areas, especially around the time of high tide, including over beach parking lots, bike paths, and harbor walkways. Rip currents can pull swimmers and surfers out to sea.
