* WHAT...Minor Coastal Flooding expected. Water levels of 4 to 6 feet above the normal high tide line, peaking during high tide. * WHERE...Bering Strait Coast and Southern Seward Peninsula Coast. * WHEN...From 10 AM Thursday to 4 AM AKDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Beach erosion is expected. In Teller, portions of Front Ave may be flooded. In Nome, water may approach yards and home in Belmont Subdivision. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A low in the Western Bering Sea will send a front moving east in the coast, resulting in south to southeast winds ramping up Thursday morning through Friday, before diminishing through Saturday. Sea levels will remain elevated through Friday before gradually subsiding Friday night into Saturday.
