Maricopa County in south central Arizona... * Until 1130 PM MST. * At 1026 PM MST, a wall of dust was along a line extending from near Sugarloaf Mountain to near Fountain Hills to Papago Park to near South Phoenix, moving northwest at 35 mph. HAZARD...Less than two miles visibility with strong wind in excess of 40 mph. SOURCE...Doppler radar. IMPACT...Hazardous travel. * This includes the following highways... AZ Interstate 10 between mile markers 139 and 146. AZ Interstate 17 between mile markers 199 and 241. AZ Route 51 between mile markers 1 and 15. Locations impacted include... Phoenix, Glendale, Scottsdale, Peoria, Fountain Hills, Paradise Valley, New River, Sugarloaf Mountain, Laveen, Ballantine Trailhead, Sun City, Sun City West, Cave Creek, Carefree, and Piestewa Peak Park.
