Motorists should not drive into a dust storm. PULL ASIDE STAY ALIVE! Dust storms lead to dangerous driving conditions with visibility reduced to near zero. If driving, avoid dust storms if possible. If caught in one, pull off the road, turn off your lights and keep your foot off the brake. To report hazardous dust conditions, contact the National Weather Service, or your nearest law enforcement agency, who will relay your report to the National Weather Service office in Tucson AZ.

HAZARD...Less than a quarter mile visibility with strong winds in excess of 60 mph. SOURCE...Detected by National Weather Service meteorologists and cameras in the area. IMPACT...Dangerous life-threatening travel. * Locations impacted include... Willcox, Portal, Bowie, Dragoon, Chiricahua National Monument, Pearce-Sunsites, Cochise, Sunizona, Kansas Settlement, San Simon, Paradise and Texas Canyon. This includes the following highways... Route 181 between mile markers 39 and 64. Route 191 between mile markers 36 and 92. Interstate 10 between mile markers 316 and 390. Route 186 between mile markers 327 and 359.
