West central Hidalgo County in southwestern New Mexico... * Until 730 PM MDT. * At 643 PM MDT, a dust channel was 4 miles northeast of Road Forks, moving south at 10 mph. HAZARD...Less than a quarter mile visibility with damaging wind in excess of 60 mph. SOURCE...Doppler radar. IMPACT...Dangerous life-threatening travel. * This includes Interstate 10 in New Mexico between mile markers 1 and 17. Locations impacted include... Steins, Road Forks, Lordsburg Playa, and Pyramid Mountains.
