What: Dangerously hot conditions with high temperatures ranging from the mid 80s to mid 90s. Nights will be very warm with low temperatures in the upper 60s to low 70s. Impacts: Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat events. Where: Orange County Coastal Areas. When: Until 8 PM PDT Thursday.
What the bulletin says to do
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
