* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with several days of Major to Extreme heat risk. * WHERE...Indian Wells Valley, Mojave Desert, and Mojave Desert Slopes. * WHEN...From Thursday morning through Monday evening. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat events. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Long duration extreme heat with no overnight relief will affect health systems, industries and infrastructure. The entire population within the Watch is at risk for heat related illnesses. Please prepare ahead of time to find air conditioning or a cooling shelter before the heat arrives.
