The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a Fire Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from Wednesday morning through Wednesday afternoon.

AFFECTED AREA

Fire Weather Zones 212 and 213.

TIMING

For the Red Flag Warning, from noon today to 8 PM MDT this evening. For the Fire Weather Watch, from Wednesday morning through Wednesday afternoon.

WINDS

West 10 to 20 mph with gusts 25 to 35 mph.

RELATIVE HUMIDITY

As low as 9 percent today, and as low as 12 percent on Wednesday.

IMPACTS

Conditions will be favorable for rapid fire spread. Avoid outdoor burning and any activity that may produce a spark and start a wildfire.
