...FIRE WEATHER WATCH FOR DRY/WINDY WEATHER FRIDAY AFTERNOON... .Dry and increasingly windy weather will develop Friday afternoon in the Owyhee Mountains and Southern Highlands in Idaho ahead of a cold front expected to pass through on Saturday. Concern is greatest in the southern half of those zones. The National Weather Service in Boise has issued a Fire Weather Watch for winds and low relative humidities, which is in effect Friday afternoon. * AFFECTED AREA...In Idaho, Fire Weather Zones 423 Owyhee Mountains and 426 Southern Highlands. * TIMING...Friday afternoon. * WINDS...West 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...11 to 19 percent. * TEMPERATURES...79 to 85 degrees. * IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
