...Fire Weather Watch Sunday... The National Weather Service in North Platte has issued a Fire Weather Watch for low relative humidity and gusty south winds, which is in effect from Sunday morning through Sunday evening. * AFFECTED AREA...Portions of western Nebraska including Fire Weather Zone 204; Eastern Panhandle/Crescent Lake NWR. * TIMING...From 10 AM to 10 PM MDT. * WINDS...South 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 15 percent. * TEMPERATURES...High temepratures nearing 100 degrees. * LIGHTNING...None expected. * IMPACTS...Any fire starts have the potential to spread rapidly.
