...BREEZY WESTERLY WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY TUESDAY... .A weather system will bring breezy westerly winds through the Cascade gaps Tuesday afternoon and evening. Coupled with low relative humidity, this may lead to critical fire weather conditions, especially across the Lower Columbia Basin of Oregon. The National Weather Service in Pendleton has issued a Fire Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday evening. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zone 691 Lower Columbia Basin of Oregon. * TIMING...From Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday evening. * WINDS...West 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Minimum RH of 10 to 15 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
