At 643 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain over the White Sage Fire scar. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening...

What the bulletin says to do

Flash flooding is occurring or imminent within the White Sage Fire scar. Campers, hunters, and hikers should move to higher ground immediately! Stay away from creeks and washes! Low water crossings will become dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route. Get out of washes and creeks if you are camping or hiking! Flooding is occurring or imminent and will inundate creeks and washes.

At 643 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain over the White Sage Fire scar. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding in and around the White Sage Fire scar. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around the White Sage Fire scar. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Mainly rural areas of Coconino County. This includes U.S. Highway 89A near mile marker 563...and between mile markers 571 and 575. This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Coyote Wash, Rock Canyon and House Rock Wash.
