Coconino County in north central Arizona... * Until 945 AM MST /1045 AM MDT/. * At 739 AM MST /839 AM MDT/, automated river gauges on the Paria River near Lees Ferry indicated that the flood wave has arrived. More than a 4 foot rise was detected around 530 AM MST. Levels are slowly falling. Flash flooding is ongoing. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding in and around the Paria River. SOURCE...Gauge indicated. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around the Paria River. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Lees Ferry. This includes the Colorado River near mile marker 0. This includes the following recreation areas and campgrounds... Lees Ferry Camp Site. This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers...
