FFWFGZ The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for... The White Sage Fire scar in... Coconino County in north central Arizona... * Until 100 AM MST. * At 955 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain over the White Sage Fire scar and areas east of the scar along and near U.S. Highway 89A. Between 0.5 and 1.25 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.75 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding in and around the White Sage Fire scar. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around the White Sage Fire scar. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... House Rock, Le Fevre Overlook and Sand Hill Petroglyphs. This includes U.S. Highway 89A between mile markers 558 and 575...and between mile markers 585 and 592. This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... House Rock Wash, Coyote Wash, Johnson Wash, Rock Canyon, Wildcat Canyon, Kaibab Wash and Jacob Canyon.
