Flooding of washes and creeks will occur, some dirt roads will become muddy and impassable. Paved roads and underpasses could become flooded as well. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

Coconino County in north central Arizona... * Until 430 PM MST. * At 133 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Forest Lakes, Willow Springs Canyon Lake, Mogollon Rim Visitor Center and Colcord Mountain Estates. This includes State Route 260 between mile markers 282 and 285. This includes the following recreation areas and campgrounds... Sinkhole Campground, Forest Road 171 Camping Area, Airplane Flat Campground, Colcord Ridge Campground, Sinkhole Campground, Forest Road 9512E Camping Area, Upper Canyon Creek Campground and Willow Springs Lake Recreation Area.
