What the bulletin says to do
Flash flooding is occurring or imminent within and downstream of the Pocket Fire scar. Severe debris flow are expected within the West Fork of Oak Creek. Oak Creek may also see elevated flow from the West Fork confluence to Sedona. Campers and hikers should get away from creeks and move to higher ground immediately! Stay away or be swept away! Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.

Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
