Flash flooding is occurring or imminent downstream of the West Fire scar, including areas along Webber Creek. Campers and hikers should move to higher ground immediately! Stay away from creeks and washes!

Bulletin details

At 217 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain over the West Fire scar. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.25 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding in and around the West Fire scar. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around the West Fire scar. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Geronimo Estates and Flowing Springs. This includes the following recreation areas and campgrounds... Geronimo Boy Scout Camp. This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... West Webber Creek.
