Eastern Santa Cruz County in southeastern Arizona... * Until 100 AM MST. * At 1102 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rainfall rates across eastern Santa Cruz county. Between 0.75 and 1.50 inches of rain have fallen with additional rainfall amounts up to an inch possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Patagonia, Elgin, Canelo and Lochiel. This includes the following highways... Route 82 between mile markers 21 and 28. Route 83 between mile markers 8 and 27.
