Yavapai County in west central Arizona... * Until 700 PM MST. * At 401 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Congress, Escapees North Ranch, Wickenburg Ranch, Lake Pleasant, Tres Alamos Wilderness, Bullard Peak, Cottonwood Day Use Area, Castle Creek Boat Ramp, Goose Bay, Coles Bay, Humbug Bay, Casa Rosa and Flores.
