At 856 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms produced heavy rain across the warned area, near Chasm Creek, south of Camp Verde. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain fell. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin as runoff flows down Chasm Creek. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Cedar Bench Wilderness. This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Bull Run Creek, Verde River, Gap Creek, Little Ash Creek and Chasm Creek.
