What the bulletin says to do
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads. Highway 151 from Arboles to the intersection of 160 near Chimney Rock is prone to rockslides and mudslides in heavy rain. Stay alert for rocks and debris on roads, and avoid driving on flooded roads. Find an alternate route.

Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen over the last 24 hours. Heavy rainfall rates due to thunderstorms are falling over this already saturated area.
