This is a life-threatening situation for in and around the middle Aspen Acres Burn Scar. Move away and to higher ground immediately. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.

At 537 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicates thunderstorms that produced heavy rain over the Middle Aspen Acres Burn Scar as ended. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain has fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected. Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow moving through the North Saint Charles, South Creek, Squirrel Creek, Middle Creek, and North Creek Drainages. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding in and around the Middle Aspen Acres Burn Scar. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around the Middle Aspen Acres Burn Scar. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... San Isabel, Highway 165, Beulah, Highway 78, stream crossings, and county roads within and immediately downstream of the burn scar. This includes the following high risk locations... Beulah Water Intake, Northcreek Road county line to Red Mountain Camp and Northcreek Road from Red Mountain Camp to Beulah.
