At 533 PM EDT, Broadcast media reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain in Flooding was reported on Jesse Hill Jr Dr NE near the intesection with Auburn Ave NE. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Broadcast media reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
