FFWILN The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for... Southwestern Dearborn County in southeastern Indiana... Central Ripley County in southeastern Indiana... * Until 630 PM EDT. * At 326 PM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Versailles, Osgood, Dillsboro, Moores Hill, Holton, Versailles Lake, Olean, Otter Village, Farmers Retreat and Cold Springs. This includes the following streams and drainages... Falling Timber Creek, Falling Timber Branch, Laughery Creek, Sugar Creek, Allen Branch, Otter Creek, Indian Kentuck Creek, Plum Creek, Hayes Branch, Graham Creek, Benham Branch, Little Otter Creek, Leatherwood Creek, Raccoon Creek, Turkey Creek, Bobb Branch, Long Branch and Little Graham Creek.
