At 206 AM EDT, emergency management reported flash flooding along State Road 28 east of Alexandria. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain. SOURCE...Emergency management reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Muncie, Albany, Eaton, Summitville and Gaston. This includes Interstate 69 between mile markers 241 and 251.
