What the bulletin says to do

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. At 1039 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding in Widecreek. Between 1.5 and 3.25 inches of rain fell from earlier thunderstorms. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain. SOURCE...Law enforcement reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Fincastle, Booth, Vada, Grannie, Whisman, Primrose, Williba, Airedale, Zoe, Flat, Torrent, High Falls, Monica, Zachariah, Mary, St. Helens, Rogers, Fillmore, Canyon Falls and Leeco.
