FFWAKQ The National Weather Service in Wakefield has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for... Somerset County in southeastern Maryland... Wicomico County in southeastern Maryland... Northwestern Worcester County in southeastern Maryland... * Until midnight EDT. * At 856 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 2 inches in 30 minutes. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.
