Western Rockland County in southeastern New York... * Until 330 AM EDT. * At 1225 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1.25 inches of rain has already fallen in parts of western Passaic County. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2.5 inches in 1 hour. Total rainfall amounts of 1 to 2.5 inches is possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
