IMPACT...Flash flooding of urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Jersey City, Hoboken, Midtown Manhattan, Jackson Heights, Astoria, Lower East Side, East Village, SoHo, Brooklyn Heights, Long Island City, Battery Park, Park Slope, Woodside, Greenpoint and Greenwich Village.
