What the bulletin says to do
Do not enter or cross flowing water or water of unknown depth! Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Arroyos, streams, and normally dry rivers can become raging killer currents in a matter of minutes. Water in arroyos can travel many miles and take hours to reach your location from upstream rain areas.

At 712 PM MDT, Although most of the heavy rain has ended, a high risk for flash flooding still exists across the warned area. Between 1.25 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen, and additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Runoff will continue into arroyos, washes, and drainages with flash flooding likely. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
