At 707 PM MDT, Stationary thunderstorms continue to impact parts of Chaparral. Radar estimates over 2 inches of rain has fallen in a small area near US-54 and Angelina Boulevard in east Chaparral. Rainfall amounts over 1 inch have fallen over western portions of Chaparral. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Northeast El Paso, Chaparral and Franklin Mountains State Park. Significant flooding is possible in eastern portions of Chaparral, near US-54.
