FFWEPZ The National Weather Service in El Paso Tx/Santa Teresa has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for... North Central Grant County in southwestern New Mexico... * Until 845 PM MDT. * At 641 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain over the Cliff/Gila area. Heavy rain is also falling over Bill Evans Lake. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, low water crossings, and streets as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Cliff, Riverside, Gila and Bill Evans Lake. This includes the following streams and drainages... Sycamore Creek, Gila River, Duck Creek, Mangas Creek, Bear Creek and Lobo Creek.
