Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or creeks.

Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, including the Agua Chiquita Creek through Sacramento and Weed, NM and Perk Canyon crossing NM-24 near the Bluewater Lookout. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Sacramento, Weed, and NM-24. This includes the following streams and drainages... Pion Creek, Sacramento River and Agua Chiquita Creek.
