FFWSLC The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has extended the * Flash Flood Warning for... Southern Emery County in central Utah... North Central Wayne County in southern Utah... * Until 730 PM MDT. * At 459 PM MDT, State Park personnel reported flash flooding in Little Wildhorse and Chute Canyons from earlier thunderstorms. These storms produced heavy rain across portions of the San Rafael Swell including Goblin Valley, Little Wildhorse, Crack, Chute, Ding, Dang, Muddy Creek and all slot canyons and dry washes in and near southern Emery and north central Wayne County. Between 0.25 and 0.75 inches of rain have fallen. This Flash Flood Warning has been extended until 730 PM MDT. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...State Park personnel reported.
