At 320 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across portions of the San Rafael Swell including Goblin Valley, Little Wildhorse, Crack, Chute, Ding, Dang, Muddy Creek and all slot canyons and dry washes in and near southern Emery and north central Wayne County. Between 0.25 and 0.75 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of slot canyons, normally dry washes, streams, creeks and rivers. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Goblin Valley, Little Wildhorse, Crack, Chute, Ding, Dang, Muddy Creek and all slot canyons and dry washes in and near southern Emery and north central Wayne County.
