Northern Calhoun County in north central West Virginia... Gilmer County in north central West Virginia... South Central Doddridge County in northern West Virginia... Northwestern Lewis County in northern West Virginia... Southeastern Ritchie County in northwestern West Virginia... Southeastern Wirt County in northwestern West Virginia... * Until 730 PM EDT. * At 428 PM EDT, doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Glenville, Grantsville, Cedar Creek State Park, Burnsville, Sand Fork, Auburn, Coxs Mills, Newberne, Troy, Tanner, Baldwin, Linn, Stouts Mills, Burnt House, Leopold, Alum Bridge, Big Springs, Smithville, Sand Run and Camden.
