* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Central to Southern Cherokee County in northeastern Alabama... * WHEN...Until 615 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 316 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Centre, Cedar Bluff, Centre Municipal Airport, Forney, Leesburg, Moshat, Tennala, Eastern Weiss Lake, Western Weiss Lake, Pleasant Gap, Ball Flat, Coloma, Howells Crossroads, Chesnut Bay Resort, Spring Garden, Waterhouse, Weiss Dam and Yellow Creek Falls.
