* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of southeast Alabama, including the following county, Geneva and Panhandle Florida, including the following counties, Holmes, Walton and Washington. * WHEN...Until 315 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 110 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Vernon, De Funiak Springs, Geneva, Bonifay, Samson, Eglin Air Force Base, Union, Liberty, Live Oak, Ponce De Leon, Caryville, Westville, Arrant Settlement, Prosperity, Hickory Hill, Baker Settlement, Cerrogordo, Pleasant Hill, Leonia and Barker Store. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
