* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of southeast Alabama, including the following county, Houston, Panhandle Florida, including the following county, Jackson, and southwest Georgia, including the following counties, Decatur and Seminole. * WHEN...Until 930 PM EDT /830 PM CDT/. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 620 PM EDT /520 PM CDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Cottonwood, Chattahoochee, Malone, Sneads, Greenwood, Bascom, Haynes, Buena Vista, Lovedale, Hornsville, Dellwood, Two Egg, Fairchild, Drakes Still, Desser, Seminole State Park, Lake Seminole, Chipola Terrace, Marianna Municipal A/P and Reynoldsville. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
