* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Central Mobile County in southwestern Alabama... * WHEN...Until 630 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 427 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2.3 inches of rain have fallen. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Midtown Mobile, Prichard, Chickasaw, I65 And I165, Forest Hill, Tacon, West Hill, Eight Mile, Whistler, Wheelerville, North Mobile, Orchard and Plateau. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
