* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of East Arkansas, including the following county, Crittenden and West Tennessee, including the following county, Shelby. * WHEN...Until 600 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 456 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Up to 1 inch of rainfall will occur in as little as 15 to 30 minutes. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Bartlett, West Memphis, Millington, Meeman Shelby Forest State Park, Memphis, Frayser, Midtown Memphis, Downtown Memphis, Woodstock, Benjestown, Raleigh, Griffin Corner, Gilestown, Lucy, Locke, St Clair, Redman Point, Cuba, Bridge Junction and Spring Lake. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
