* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Maricopa County in south central Arizona... * WHEN...Until 345 AM MST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 227 AM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.75 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Phoenix, Mesa, Chandler, Tempe, Arizona Mills Mall, Arizona State University, Tempe Marketplace, Papago Park, Fiesta Mall, Mesa Riverview Mall, Downtown Scottsdale, Downtown Mesa, Salt River Indian Community, South Mountain Park and Guadalupe. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
