* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...North Central Pima County in southeastern Arizona... * WHEN...Until 945 PM MST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 646 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. This includes the following streams and drainages... Gu Achi Wash, Hickiwan Wash, Santa Rosa Wash, Quijotoa Wash, Anegam Wash and San Simon Wash. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 0.75 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... San Simon, Vaya Chin and San Simon West. This includes Route 86 between mile markers 70 and 89. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
