* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...South Central Pima County in southeastern Arizona... * WHEN...Until 900 PM MST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 606 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated between 0.50 and 1.25 inches of heavy rain along and near Highway 286 from the junction with Arivaca Road north. This will cause small stream flooding, especially along roadway dips and normally dry washes that drain into the Puertocito and Altar Washes. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Mainly rural areas of South Central Pima County. This includes Route 286 between mile markers 7 and 28. This includes the following Flash Flood Prone Locations... Arivaca Rd from Arivaca Junction & HWY 286. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
