* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...North Central Pima County in southeastern Arizona... Southwestern Pinal County in southeastern Arizona... * WHEN...Until 1245 PM MST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. River or stream flows are elevated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 947 AM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. This includes the following streams and drainages... Mammoth Wash, San Luis Wash, Quijotoa Wash, Sikul Himatk Wash, San Vicente Wash, Ko Vaya Wash, Tiro Wash, El, Robles Wash, Los, Santa Rosa Wash, Comobabi Wash, Gu Achi Wash, Viopuli Wash, Anegam Wash, Aguirre Wash, House Wash, Pan Tak Wash, Anegan Wash and Sil Nakya Wash. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.2 to 0.8 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Eloy, Santa Rosa, Picacho, Chui-Chu, Picacho Peak State Park, Covered Wells, Anegam, Cockleburr, North Komelik, Kohatk, Palo Verde Stand, Ak Chin, Queens Well, Sil Nakya, Santa Rosa Ranch, San Luis Sells District, Jack Rabbit and Mountain Village. This includes the following highways... Route 86 between mile markers 91 and 102...and between mile markers 131 and 134. Route 87 between mile markers 116 and 117. Interstate 10 between mile markers 205 and 213. This includes the following Flash Flood Prone Locations...
