Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...North Central Pima County in southeastern Arizona... Southwestern Pinal County in southeastern Arizona... * WHEN...Until 1015 PM MST. * IMPACTS...Rises in small streams and normally dry washes. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 718 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Eloy, Picacho, Anegam, North Komelik and Jack Rabbit. This includes the following highways... Route 87 between mile markers 116 and 124. Interstate 10 between mile markers 206 and 211. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
