* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Eastern Pima County in southeastern Arizona... South Central Pinal County in southeastern Arizona... North Central Santa Cruz County in southeastern Arizona... * WHEN...Until 145 PM MST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. River or stream flows are elevated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 1042 AM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. This includes the following streams and drainages... Santa Cruz River, Sutherland Wash, Guijas Wash, Las, Rillito River, Box Canyon Wash, Seco, Arroyo, Sopori Wash, Banner Wash, Brawley Wash, Bolas Blancas Wash, Guild Wash, Indian Well Wash, Robles Wash, Los, Saucito Wash, Big Wash, Demetrie Wash, Chirreon Wash, Oro, Caada del, South Mendoza Wash, West Branch Santa Cruz River, Esperero Wash, Champurrado Wash, Altar Wash, Peitas Wash, Cerro Prieto Wash, Chico, Arroyo, Old Junction Wash, Pantano Wash and Chalk Creek. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.4 to 0.8 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include...
