Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Pinal County in southeastern Arizona... * WHEN...Until 115 AM MST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 1011 PM MST, A trained weather spotter reported 0.71 inches of rain in 30 minutes in the advisory area. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Florence, Coolidge, Queen Creek, Magma, San Tan Valley and San Tan Mountain Park. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
