* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Dewey-Humboldt in Yavapai County in west central Arizona... * WHEN...Until 730 PM MST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in creeks and normally dry washes is imminent or occurring. Dangerous flooding over low-water crossings. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. Ponding of water on highways and in urban areas will create hazardous travel conditions. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 513 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated that the heavy rain had ended over the Dewey-Humboldt area. However, minor flooding remains a threat from earlier heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Brushy Wash, Lynx Creek, Yarber Wash, Agua Fria River, Chaparral Gulch and Big Bug Creek. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Prescott Valley, Dewey-Humboldt and Mayer. This includes State Route 69 between mile markers 277 and 283. Additional information is available at weather.gov/flagstaff.
