* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...South Central Imperial County in southeastern California... * WHEN...Until 1215 AM PDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 917 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... El Centro, Calexico, Brawley, Imperial, Holtville, El Centro Naval Airfield, Mt. Signal, Heber, Alamorio, Seeley and Bonds Corner. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
